Sunlit fungi

Tarra Bulga National Park, South Gippsland, Victoria

The early morning sun had found a gap between hills and trees and fell perfectly on this little bit of forest magic. All the while that I worked, fiddling with tripod and lens, the local lyrebird strutted up and down a nearby fence rail providing a musical accompaniment, perhaps complaining about my unusual lack of attention.
